Ice Sculpture FAQs

How much does an ice installation cost?

The cost depends on the size, complexity, and type of ice sculpture or installation. Prices can range from small table pieces to large, custom installations. We have prices for our standard blocks listed below, contact us for a quote tailored to your design.

Standard Ice Sculptures:

Small floral arrangement 50x20x20 cm = $350

Largest floral arrangement 100x50x20 cm (Landscape or Portrait) = $1200
"Standard" food display with a floral arrangement centerpiece H100xL100xD50 cm = $2500
Drink's luge 35x35x20 cm = $450

How long do ice carvings last?

Ice carvings typically last between 4 to 8 hours, depending on the room temperature and size of the sculpture. Larger blocks will naturally last longer.

What can I design?

We can create a wide range of designs, including vases, ice buckets, centrepieces, seafood bars, and even interactive pieces like ice luges. If you can imagine it, we can likely make it!

How much notice do I need to give?

We recommend at least 3 weeks notice, depending on the complexity of your design and availability. However, we’ll always try to accommodate shorter timeframes when possible. Timeframe begins after design has been confirmed by both parties.

Do you charge for delivery?

Yes, delivery is charged based on the location and size of the sculpture. We provide a delivery quote during the ordering process.

Can I design something for you to make?

Absolutely! We love working with custom designs. Share your ideas, and we’ll work closely with you to bring your vision to life.

Is it possible to have an ice sculpture delivered to my event outside of Melbourne?

At this stage, unfortunately we are only delivering to the Melbourne area.

Does it make a mess?

Ice sculptures do melt, but we take care to minimise mess. We provide drip trays for most sculptures to catch excess water as they melt.

What is a luge?

An ice luge is a fun, interactive ice sculpture where guests can pour drinks down channels carved into the ice, chilling the drink as it flows into glasses.

Where do I place the carving at the event?

Care must be taken when deciding where the sculpture should be placed. Due to the size and weight of the ice, we recommend a sturdy and level surface at a maximum height of 1m.
